Kementerian siasat dakwaan ciplak lagu merdeka

Menteri Penerangan, Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim mengumumkan penubuhan panel siasatan bagi menyiasat lagu kemerdekaan yang didakwa menciplak lagu gereja Indonesia.

"Satu panel telah dibentuk untuk mengenalpasti sama ada dakwaan bahawa lagu merdeka 'Janji Ditepati' telah diciplak.

"Pembangkang tidak sepatutnya membuat tuduhan secara sewenang-wenangnya," katanya dalam laman Twitter pagi ini.

Paparan Twitter itu merupakan penafian keras Rais - yang juga ahli parlimen Jelebu - bahawa melodi lagu itu diciplak, menurut laporan New Straits Times hari ini.

"Kami menyangkal dakwaan penulis blog itu dan akan mencari jalan penyelesaian perundangan jika dia gagal untuk mempertahankan dakwaannya," Rais dipetik sebagai berkata oleh akhbar itu.-MK
